A film by Régine Chopinot and Jean-Baptiste Warluzel

‍everyday is a documentary film capturing the very last research and creation sessions for PACIFIKMELTINGPOT, recorded in Japan in September 2015. Régine Chopinot and Jean-Baptiste Warluzel focused on moments when the camera's gesture is in close dialogue with that of the choreographic situation at stake. It takes the form of a huis clos, erasing all objective reference points of temporality and location in which the action takes place. Reflexively and in parallel with the initial unfolding of the situation, the editing suggests the absence of hierarchy between the choreographer and the performers, thus thwarting commonly accepted authority.
