This project is a creation that moves body and language, representations of the other and ways of learning. It puts encounter and exchange at the heart of learning.
He had learned the only language worth speaking, the one that puts its ear to the world's eyes.

Semaines de la lecture is celebrating its 20th anniversary, with a project in line with its statutes: to promote the lively and joyful practice of language for all. This project is also supported and cherished by the LivrEchange, ParMi and espacefemmes associations.
The association is offering 5 days of immersive, inclusive and participative workshops with choreographer Régine Chopinot, former director of the Centre chorégraphique national de la Rochelle, and dancer Bekaye Diaby, who has himself followed a migration path and become a professional dancer. They are accompanied by drummer Vincent Kreyder.
Régine Chopinot's internationally acclaimed work combines dance and language, music, rhythm and learning. In 2022, the film De la Beauté, produced and directed at the Opéra national de Paris, documents 3 years of work with asylum seekers and isolated women. In Fribourg, the project DANSER LA LANGUE - PARLER LA DANSE will be documented by David Nguyen (director from Fribourg), Eva Bourgknecht, Hasseeb Ayoubi and Stefano Christen.
Through dance, combining gesture and speech, this project aims to transmit tools for personal, human and social development. It emphasizes orality and movement, and fosters awareness of the body and language, both the language of a shared community and the expression of one's own singularity. Taming bodies, naming them to rediscover unity, naming space to feel at its heart.
